Salicylic acid penetrates the skin’s pores and removes the excess dead skin cells and oil that clog the pores and cause pimples. Salicylic acid also has an exfoliating effect and will therefore remove dead skin cells which optimize the skin’s ability to better absorb your subsequent products in your routine. Arbutin a tone-evening ingredient that can inhibit melanin production in the skin, preventing dark spots (also known as sun damage, pigment spots and liver spots).In the list of ingredients you will also find centella, which is an herb from Asia that adds moisture to the skin, prevents pimples and acts as an antioxidant against oxidative stress and free radicals. In case of damaged skin, it promotes the skin’s ability to heal itself and centella is effective in fighting redness and irritation in the skin.This serum also contains collagen, beta-glucan and squalane, which balance the skin’s moisture level and strengthen the skin barrier.
